Reforming and Advancing for Excellence in Dentistry – Saudi Arabia (RAED-SA)
Information
RAED-SA is the first national flagship initiative in oral health transformation under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the Health Sector Transformation Program. It aims to reposition dentistry from a treatment-focused model toward policy-led, prevention-oriented, and patient-centered care. The initiative is structured around four interlinked tracks:
1. National Oral Health Survey
2. National Oral Health Policy & Strategic Plan
3. Dental Service Delivery & Patient Journey Optimization
4. Project ZERO – Flagship Caries Prevention Initiative
Together, these tracks address systemic gaps, strengthen governance, and lay the foundation for measurable progress in oral health outcomes by 2025, with scalable models for 2026 and beyond.
